Resources

The South Carolina Lt. Governor’s Office on Aging has a great program called  GetCareSC. They provide support and resources for programs that help aging citizens and adults with disabilities live independently.

Another resource is the SC Assistive Technology Program.  They have a service that helps people find assistive technology such as wheelchairs, tub benches, vehicle lifts, etc.  Also, if someone has an old wheelchair, walker, shower chair, etc. that is no longer needed, it can be donated and we will clean it up and find a home for it, or the owner can list it for sale or giveaway through the SC Assistive Technology Exchange.
